We went for restaurant week because the menu sounded good. I should have been more leery of a restaurant in a hotel because the atmosphere felt a little too casual for the type of cuisine attempted. First course we tried the arancini which was fine but nothing outstanding. The winter salad was very fresh and delicious. We all had the cacio e pepe 2nd course which was tasty. The 3rd courses were disappointing . The cobia fish dish was tasteless and served room temperature. The rutabaga puree was the highlight. The chicken schnitzel okay but dry. The steak add on was kind of odd with the fruity compote. For dessert the “carrot cake” was rather small, about the size of an Oreo cookie. The affogato, while not traditional, was exceptional, however. The wine list was expensive, but maybe that was just a curated list for Restaurant Week. Was it a terrible meal? No, but it wasn’t great for a total bill for 2 over $200.

Our group of seven people had a great experience here during restaurant week. The food was all amazing, our table ordered a number of different menu items so that we could try them all. Chef Michael Olson does an amazing job and came out to greet us. We will definitely be back!

Show Pony was a really nice experience! This was our choice for restaurant week and I’m glad we went. Some dishes were better than others, but I see real charm and potential here. First impressions: the atmosphere is nice, not too casual and not too formal. The service was VERY friendly and I felt our server did a fantastic job describing the dishes and giving recommendations. There was also someone else who seemed very knowledgeable on the wines to give my wife a great recommendation based on her preference. Everyone was great. For my selections from the restaurant week menu: We started with the milk bread. This was really a basic roll to me with pretty standard butter. I was pretty disappointed that this was a $10 add on given the bland flavor profile. The arancini was cooked very well. I enjoyed it but wish there was more thought into the flavor on the inside. The Cacio e Pepe was very good! My main was the Ocean Blue Cobia. Wow, what a creative dish! I’ve never had anything like it so I really appreciated that and the presentation was great. Overall, we had a good experience! Some area for improvement on flavor but I’m definitely rooting for them and would come back to try more of their food.

My partner and I ate at Show Pony during Restaurant Week for my partner’s birthday dinner. We had a reservation and got sat ~5-7 minutes after checking in with the host. The menu was 4 courses (appetizer, small plate, entree, dessert) with a couple optional add-ons. We had the winter greens, eggplant hummus, milk bread, bolognese, cacio e pepe, chicken schnitzel, pork cheek, and carrot cake. Our favorites were the winter greens/hummus, bolognese, and pork cheek. We were slightly disappointed with the carrot cake as it’s my favorite dessert and the sponge was dry with a melting sorbet (eaten with a fork), but overall really enjoyed our meal. The pork cheek was by far the best part of the meal, and I would have been happy to only eat that. The server did get our orders mixed up, so we had to trade with each course, however, it wasn’t a big deal. Since we live so close to the restaurant, we’ve already talked about going back! 7.5/10

We dined prix fixe 4 course menu during Restaurant Week. Many of their standard menu items were included. The Chef Michael came from the Americana only here has full control of the menu. You could taste the original and well prepared meal. Presentation was beautiful too. One of the best diners that I’ve enjoyed out in years. Jared was our primary server. Again, Amazing. He described each menu item with knowledge and enthusiasm. His timing (and the staffs) of each course was perfect. Servicer perfection. Truly a 5 Star experience.

Great atmosphere but the food was underwhelming. It was restaurant week so it was a prix fix menu. My husband and I both got different dishes and both agreed that the flavors were off in the dishes or there wasn’t much flavor. We had four courses. Service was great though.

We went for Restaurant Week and the food was pretty good. We had the arancini and winter salad for our first course, both were very tasty. Had the cocio de pepe and bolognese for second courses, both also delicious. Third course was cobia and chicken schnitzel. The schnitzel was a little under seasoned and the cobia was overcooked and tough. Our fourth course was affogato and overall it was a beautiful dessert but there needs to be more ice cream to counterbalance the bitterness of the espresso.
