   Great brunch experience. Noted it was a birthday party, so seated with great ocean views. The server (Scottish gentleman - I missed hearing his name) did a great job. Right pacing of the food for a relaxing celebration brunch. Thank you for making the day special!

   Fun restaurant with a good vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed the carne adavada and my sister loved the lemon ricotta pancakes. The lemon Caesar salad was a bit off and I wouldn’t order it again. My husband’s chilaquiles were good. The Scratch Margarita was too pricy for what you get. We will definitely be back.

   Amazing spot! Beautifully located at the marina in Newport. Staff is exceptional and the food is outstanding! Great for boozy brunch too. Thank you for an awesome dining experience.

   My fiance and I went here for our anniversary. I was greeted by the hostess staring at the iPad, then slowing looking up to me and saying “do you need something?”, like I was interrupting her. Have never been greeted by a hostess like this before. I politely responded “yes, I have a reservation”. This was a disappointing start out visit. Our waitress, I believe her name was Karissa- she was wonderful. The food was okay, I would rate it a 6/10. I ordered the cubano and the sandwich was so skinny after being cut in half and falling apart, I had to use a fork and knife to eat it- all the ham and bacon was only on 1 half, the other half had just cheese and pickles- the pork had completely fallen off and was next to the sandwich. The view was beautiful, but due to the rude hostess and food quality- I wouldn’t come here again. There are plenty other ocean view restaurants in the area with better food and service.

   We had a pretty nice dinner experience at the Shorebird with it being our first visit there. Just a warning, if you park in the parking structure, make sure you use the elevator to get to the restaurant. (My husband took a tumble walking up the ramp that goes down into the structure as the incline is steep.) The food was great...we had the Caesar Salad, Salmon filet and Filet Mignon with asparagus. The only thing we missed was not having any bread with our meal (just "food for thought" for the restaurant manager). Our server was beyond helpful, pleasant and sweet. I wish I had her name (it wasn't given to us) or I'd give her kudos on this review.
