The Shad draws inspiration from all twenty-two regions and our food varies according to local influences characterised by exquisite aromas, glowing colours and earthy flavours.

Excellent food and solid service. Only negative was that we were seated at the back of the restaurant and there was a strong smell of drains which was off-putting. Would return but request a table at the front!

Another great meal at Shad Indian. If you like curry cannot think of a better venue in the London Bridge area

Decided to try this as an alternative to the fabulous but slightly pricey Tower Tandoori - the meal was reasonable but nothing spectacular - nothing to complain about except the nan bread which was thin and soggy. It’s not a bad little Indian and it being on Tooley st I am sure it does good trade, however it was not quite good enough to draw us back to go ‘off piste’ here again.

The staff are very accommodating, the food is of a high quality , big variety on the menu and fair value for money. Moreover they are sensitive to noise levels which make your dining experience very pleasant
