   The York River Oysters were delicious as was the Sushi appetizer. Steaks were very good also and the Crispy Cauliflower was incredible. Our waitress Olivia helped to make it a wonderful Friday "date night."

   This was my first BAD experience at this restaurant . For a Wednesday evening at 5:30pm the restaurant was crowded. Very slow service due to short number of waitress’s. Mgt staff was even doing the bussing of tables. Our waitress had too many tables plus the kitchen staff was slow. Our food came out very late w food temp between luke warm and room temp. Very disappointing!! Menu prices have now increased to levels of higher rated local restaurants.

   Have been dining at Seaweed for many years now. Last night seemed off. Service was slower than usual. Ordered 2 cold apps (shrimp cocktail and octopus) the octopus came out first and the shrimp followed slowly, about 5 minutes later. However the octopus was very chewy and none of us were able to eat it and we did tell the server. The salmon was hot and our guest enjoyed it, the sushi was the hit of the night as usual, however the risotto came out warm, not hot as usual. As I said something seemed off about everything last night.

   Christofer is an awesome waiter. Food was served hot but not rushed. Very pleasant experience.

   We started with the Volcano as our appetizer, it was delicious. Nice selection of drinks and you can order from the happy hour menu. The dinners were all delicious!!! I decided on the cheesecake of the day home for my dessert. It was original New York style, with no toppings at $ 7.00 the waitress brought it back all packed and ready to go, and when I opened it at home I was shocked, it was 1 inch high and as big as a regular-size cupcake for 7.00. That was my only disappointment.

   Ellie was intuitively awesome and engaging. All four of us had perfectly prepared. Cheli stopped by for a nice chat to confirm we were pleased with everything. A wonderful evening with our friends and the Seaweed team.
