They management did not honor our reservation!! Told us it would be over a 30 minute wait. Which we could not do since we had an appointment elsewhere. When I asked why they use a reservation system at all if they are not going to honor it, they just shrugged. We left extremely disappointed and frustrated.

Some of the best breakfast in MoCo! had the lobster and veggie omelet and my boyfriend had the steak and cheese omelet.

This is a fairly new restaurant, but it has a long way to go. We were excited because we want more breakfast places in our area, but I don't think I'll be going back soon. The website encouraged reservations, so we made one for 8 am (opening time). The restaurant was locked and no one came to let us in for 15 minutes ("we had a delivery"), even though we could see that there were employees in the kitchen. It was cold and uncomfortable outside. There was one server in the dining room. He had poor social skills and interrupted me every time I tried to say something (mostly in response to his questions). The food tasted OK, but there was nothing unique on the menu. The only juice choice was fresh OJ ($6 for a small glass -- I said no thanks). My breakfast companion asked that fruit be left off his plate, because he is very allergic to strawberries. Instead, his stack of pancakes was served covered in strawberries. He had to lift off, and not eat, the top pancake on the stack. (The server saw what happened, but did not adjust the bill.) When i was ready to pay, I was handed a machine, but the displays did not work properly and I had to ask the server to reset the screen. Asking him to help me did not go smoothly, he argued with me (see interrupting, above) and I was pretty sure I was charged twice. I learned later that I was in fact charged twice, but this error was fixed later that day with my credit card company.

We had made a reservation for brunch. When we showed up, they said they didn't have the reservation, and wouldn't do anything about it. I get the place is small and they didn't have a table, but they were very rude about it, like it was our fault. At the very least we should have gotten an apology rather than nastiness.

Our family had a wonderful meal at Scratch Kitchen. They gave us the option to eat inside or outside which was so nice. Love the large breakfast and lunch option on the menu. Great coffee too!
