Scala Osteria offers traditional Southern Italian, seafood-centered recipes meant to be shared with family and friends in our warm and vibrant dining room. Our menu is influenced by the traditional Italian osteria where creating simple yet delicious food is paramount, and our atmosphere is always inviting and full of life. From our beautiful oyster bar to our house-made pastas and Neapolitan style pizzas, we have something for everyone. We offer varying experiences, from folks grabbing a quick bite on their lunch hour, to couples stopping in to delight in our Oyster Bar, to parties spending hours enjoying delicious Southern Italian fare with perfectly paired wines. Sister restaurant to valley favorite, Bistro Don Giovanni, Scala Osteria is located on vibrant First Street in the heart of Downtown Napa. We are open daily for lunch, dinner from 11:30am to 10pm and late night service from 10-11pm.

Another one for the books The best table gifted to us by the host Alexa. Our server Debra who’s been with the restaurant since day 1 was the best. Manager Rosa was there to make our dining momentous again. Pretty sweet Thank you Scala!!!

Recommended by some close friends. Get the calamari. Get the spaghetti gamberi and vongole Get the pizza funghi. Winter Salad was ok. Chicken diabola was ok. Brussels were bad. Service was great! Other guests were nice, shared some winery and dining tips!

Great lunch spot. A little $$$ for lunch with no alcohol. But the location, the service, and the food make up for it as a Great once a month Friday treat.

I hosted a 70th birthday party for 5 women and requested a table upstairs. The restaurant was ready for us with a birthday card for the honoree and amazing service. It was the perfect venue for a celebration and I'll be back for many more! Food is always outstanding.

We booked this based on locations and reviews. The music was too loud when we arrived,but as the room filled up it was better. I am particularly sensitive to noise. We had the pork chop (shared) with a side of Penne. It was fantastic! Our friends had ravioli (yum) and pizza,which was burnt on the back and edges. Our friends didn't complain,but said it wasn't great. The dessert was cherry gelato. Very yummy . The service was excellant.
