Contrary to what most think, the word tapas actually means "to cover". Rooted as a tradition in Spanish culture, socializing patrons of restaurants would cover their wine glasses with small plates to protect their beverages from insects and small pests while outdoors. At Savor, we pay homage to this ritual in our own unique way. The urban and chic atmosphere invites locals to step outside Amarillo for an evening and into another place entirely.     As usual, Brianna gave great service and everything was on point. We had the new cured salmon and pork belly sliders which were both great. There are only 2 sliders per order, so make sure you ask if you're sharing. We also had the albondigas, escargot, peppadews, carpaccio, octopus, brussels sprouts, and Niscalos. All were great (as usual), the niscalos were especially tasty but the brandy sauce wasn't really needed with the delicious broth in the mushrooms. We always order extra bread for the escargot butter and garlic.

    Brunch was amazing so many wonderful choices. We will have to go back to try other dishes. Sparkling Sangria is my favorite! Great service and food was so delicious!

    The Paella was the best we have had in the U.S. and compared very favorably to that we had in Spain. An outstanding chef. Our overall dining experience was exceptional from the privateness of the Garden Room (ask to be seated there for greater privacy) although the main dining room is beautiful, to the quality of service of our waitress, Brianna. A real find in our cross country trip!

    SaVor is one of our favorite restaurants in Amarillo. Great and unique ambiance (I call it "green Barcelona"), good service, and incredible food and cocktails. We have brought our kids to SaVor for brunch several times, but not for dinner before. The waitress did a fantastic job of providing options for them (sorry - our kids are picky) and both loved their meals. Amarillo does not have the deepest pool of local foodie venues, so we hope SaVor continues and thrives! We would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone!
