Built in 1867, Satchmo's Corner sits in a wonderful old building in the market town of Rugby, famous for the game, Rugby School and for being
The Gateway to the Midlands.
Satchmo's Corner represents all one wants to enjoy in a restaurant, one might say. Take some time out of your day to slow down and relax in the epitome of comfort, in our soft lounge area or more formally at the table where you will be served food from our menus of modern British cuisine,
whether breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or evening meal all of which are cooked in-house by our amazing Chef's, who prepare, cook and serve
fresh food daily, Tuesday to Sunday.
Starting with an array of delicious choices.
Breakfast with an array of options is served 9am - 12pm, and our luncheon menu, from 12pm - 6pm.
Satchmo’s would not be complete if we didn’t offer our quintessentially English afternoon teas which are served 1pm – 4pm and followed by
dinner at 5pm.

    The meal was lovely and great to have this restaurant in Rugby. Really liked the ambience and decor. However, wouldn't rush back as we were disappointed by the service. The two starters didn't arrive at the same time. On prompting the soup arrived, but without the bread which came when the soup was nearly finished. Overall, a bit more training for staff.

    A fantastic addition to Rugby's restaurant scene. Brilliant decor & ambiance, super lovely & friendly staff and really tasty top quality food. I can't recommend enough.

    Nice atmosphere. We ordered the sharing steak. It had quite a lot of fat on. Sides with the steak were limited (fried spring onions, garlic and chips). Cutlery and plates were not brought before the food. When plates were brought they were small and cold. An enjoyable evening but pricey for the food and service received.

    Overall We had a very nice meal and the staff and service was very good. My criticism would be that there are no draught Beers and that the main course’s do not come with any accompaniments and are extra and not enough variants .
