This establishment is for the residents at SRC, and I ate lunch with my mom. The angus burger was good and so was the shrimp cocktail which I had two of as they are small. I always like their fresh seasonal berries.

We are enjoying our dining experiences very much and will be joining everyone for dinner in the manor dining room most evenings. I like the “Chef’s Creations” and the variety every night. Two minor things come to mind: the mashed potatoes were gluey with big chunks of potato in them. I’ve always mashed potatoes with butter and milk until they are light and fluffy — even creamy. I was disappointed in the ones served. Pies: the fillings are great, but the pie crust is below par. The crust should be flaky on top and not gummy on the bottom. Everything else has been lovely.

Was is a great place to eat for many years the last four meals have been over cooked to the point of being inedible. Fish are used to be perfect. Now it’s cooked to a crisp. Last nights chicken pot pie contain chicken that was cooked to oblivion.

Servers were very polite but very slow. Took over 2 hours to get through dinner mostly caused by waiting for main course.

I arrived on time at 5.30. The main course was finally delivered at 6.35 over 45 minutes after ordering. By the time I'd finished dessert it was 7.20 and too late to attend the movie.

The pork chops were large , thick and tough. Not an attractive or good meal. In this case large is a turn off. The kitchen can do better
