Chris Evans, Owner/Operator of Sangiovese, has maintained dedication to his loyal clientele by providing the highest quality ingredients and impeccable service. A dear friend and I had a fabulous evening at Sangiovese. Scott Fox was our server and gave us excellent recommendations on wine, dinner specials, and desserts. I ordered the seafood-pasta special which had a delicious cream sauce and perfectly cooked lobster and shrimp on bowtie pasta. The cheese torta was fantastic and is always a great starter to enjoy with a bottle of wine. The homemade cannoli couldn't have been better and most of all, we were allowed plenty of time to enjoy our conversation and meal - never made to feel rushed as all courses were delivered at perfect intervals for a wonderful dining experience. Thank you to all of the staff at Sangiovese for always making dinner at your restaurant a special evening.

We love Sangiovese. Typically the service is stellar but last night it was really off. It was spotty and not the normal smooth dinner. The two tables by us both turned twice while we were dining. And, we were asked three times if we wanted boxes but nobody followed thru until finally our server came back. We had to flag him down to get another bottle of wine. The bread wasn't refreshed until we waved him down and asked. Nothing horrible but just not what we expect from one of our favorite restaurants.
