Cruz was our server, and we benefited from her extensive knowledge about the menu and food in general. She’s very pleasant, and she’s a foodie. It’s always nice to have a server who’s a foodie—not one who sheepishly says things, like “Oh, I don’t like seafood,” “I just eat fries,” or “I haven’t really tried anything here, but everyone orders the ___.” She recommended the mushroom ricotta dish, which we absolutely loved. It has a hint of sweetness that surprisingly ties together the mushrooms (noticed prized enoki in the mix), ricotta, and pine nuts. We used it to dip in our Margherita pizza… oh my gawd… the pizza is WONDERFUL. I am not a fan of most pizza because the sauce is never sweet enough, or the dough is soggy, or there’s too much cheese, or whatever. But, I ate half the pizza. The dough has the perfect chew and saltiness, the sauce is perfectly seasoned, and the cheese was just right. It’s up there with Andy’s to me. People need to keep me away from this pizza. Thanks for a great meal!

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience on Saturday! All of our dishes were delicious and served quickly. Our server, Josie, was outstanding! She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and attentive and we will be requesting her next time we go to Salt & Vine which will definitely be soon!

Things started out well but then went downhill, server was not attentive at all husbands steak was cooked improperly and by the time we found the waiter and got his attention and waited for it to be fixed 20 minutes had passed I was done eating my dinner there was no apology from the manager and then our drinks were never refreshed and again couldn’t find the waiter to settle our tab.

Our first time stopping here before heading to a performance at Olney Theater, and it couldn’t have been nicer. The food and service were excellent (plaudits to our waiter Sam who never hovered and never neglected while keeping an eye on the clock for showtime) and we can highly recommend the fried artichokes and roasted beet salad as appetizers. The decor is lovely and it is quiet enough that you can clearly speak and hear. We will be back and bring family who also enjoy fine dining.

The food and service is always been very good . The noise level is high and can be uncomfortable at times when people want to talk . One of my favorite places to go
