Salt & Lime is Rex's Family of Restaurant's twist on classic Mexican. A bright, vibrant atmosphere and fresh flavors are our priorities. With an emphasis on tacos, traditional cooking techniques and regional ingredients are used to create progressive Mexican dishes. At the bar unique craft tequila cocktails are prepared with natural ingredients and fresh juices. Take advantage of the salt, lime & sunshine offered up on the rooftop deck during the summer months. Due to ever changing mountain weather, our patio is seated on a first come first serve basis and not available for reservations or booking in advance.
Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. We encourage reservations and offer a wait list when available.

    We are a family of nine people. They had us all done in 40 min and food was excellent. Service superb. Bravo for a busy ski town on Christmas week!

    Very friendly waitress who was quite helpful with the menu and suggestions. Very responsive to our questions. We ordered many different taco options and all were delicious. Excellent presentation too!

    Salt and Lime is solid with their food. Always tasty! Our server was great - very accommodating to food allergies. My family comes here every time we are in Steamboat!

    Hip atmosphere. Love the Frida mural with 3 D flowers. Delicious creative food. On point service from Luke. Guacamole (embellished with bacon pinto beans queso Fresca) is so delicious. The taco trio was just fantastic. BLT shrimp, carne asado, el pastor, bison taco, fish taco and the extra hot chorizo taco. Yes we got 6 tacos.

    Best queso dip I’ve ever had. The guac was delicious too. The service was wonderful, servers were so positive and kind, and we weren’t an easy group. So glad we came tonight.
