Made a 1 o’clock reservation for 4 on Mother’s Day although it was for my son’s 1st communion. Arrived before checkin and there was a back up of people waiting to checkin for their reservation times. Having worked in the service industry I was and always am extremely patient and understanding. Come 1:27 when a party of 5 that had a 1 pm reservation that checked in after me started to make noise the management seemed to actually take notice. After a few parties left and they had asked my party of 5 to follow them to the reserved outdoor table. As we were headed outside I heard the manager asking a party to get up from the table they had seated themselves at. The woman then started complaining loudly they wanted a table outside and then started speaking in Spanish to the manager and a gentleman I later found out was the owner. No acknowledgment was paid to us as this went on for a few minutes and they just sat these people at our table and then left. I had to follow her and say excuse me, you just asked us to follow you and then you gave our table away? Should I have complained? I have been nothing but polite. As they mumbled us to an inside table a family of three caught our attention and the father said, and I quote, if you have not been sat, Run! They actually hit this gentleman in the head with a tray and still had this family of 3 waiting on any food. Meanwhile the entire upstairs when we had gone up, had about maybe 3-4 tables sat. It was wide open. And I WILL say, the wait staff was the ONLY positive thing this restaurant has going for them. They were not over whelmed in the least They were attentive, apologetic, and quick. Who we did not hear from, were the manager or the owner. At this point, we just wanted to be done. None of the orders were right or not worth the price in the least. I will NEVER go there again. HORRIBLE owners and management but wonderful wait staff

The manager & owner were completely unprepared for Mothers Day A terrible day to have a bad day Tables are too tight, I moved after the waitress banged by head with a full tray of food ( I am not a tall person) Ended up eating @ a bar table that wasn't balanced (food and drinks kept shifting as the table kept moving) Waited 40 minutes for appetizers that then arrived cold My daughters fries were not cold and hard My wife's lettuce was soggy The staff was polite and apologetic and told us 3 times the manager wanted to speak with us To add the carrot on top - when I got up to pay the manager thought it was a good idea to approach my wife at that time and ask her with an attitude -I quote -'ok how can she help us" When I told her we were fine and didn't need to speak and were paying and leaving she started arguing with me like we were the problem. I would not recommend nor suggest eating there until the owner changes the manager. She made an already bad experience absolutely awful and infuriating. Never like to give bad reviews because the staff was trying but unprepared and unable to handle as 3 other tables were also complaining. Things happen, bad days, and staff shortages happen but the MANAGER completely handled the wrong way and the owner cannot succeed with poor leadership

I don’t know how they make money, time management here is absolutely terrible. Lots of staff, only 4 tables occupied, most of the empty tables covered with dirty dishes, patrons with reservation leaving after almost 2hours waiting without being seated or even checked in (l counted 13 people leaving). The restaurant was literally empty!! The food was decent, service very very slow (definitely not a professional waitress but courteous).

Evelyn was bombarded with rude customers while she was dealing with chaos. She handled every situation gracefully and kept her composure. Food & drinks were delicious, service was great. The wait was expected due to it being Mother’s Day. Overall great experience.

It was a Mother’s Day brunch so I do understand it’s a packed house, however, I was not impressed by the service. The tables on the balcony are butted up against each other so closely that you bump into other patrons. I could hear even the lowest conversation we sat so closely. We were sat with no menu. Asked for a menu, given three different versions of a menu. The appetizer (Brussel sprouts) took 30 mins or more. I had to ask for silverware. We waited another out for our main course only for the wrong order to come out. The wait an additional ten minutes for a correction. Once it finally arrived, the order was still wrong. We asked for a Filet and we were served a ribeye. If there was seasoning, I couldn’t taste it. The view was great but there was just so many faults.

The restaurant mgmt and staff was totally unprepared for a busy day. Virtually everyone in the restaurant was upset with the service and time it took for everything. While I didn’t see a manager other guests told me how crazy their interactions were. The server was very nice but couldnt keep up if she had one third the tables

Food always good. Friendly service. We ate outside so noise level was low. Beautiful day and view of the bay and fort.

This place was having an off night. Despite being one of two parties in the restaurant at 6pm, service was inattentive, food was not hot and side dishes came well after the entree was served, and more importantly, no one on staff cared. I told a party coming in to turn around that was how bad it was.
