   If you’re looking for a hidden gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience, look no further! Our party of five dined here recently, and each of us were blown away by the incredible food and exceptional service. From the moment we were seated, the service was attentive and welcoming. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece. The bread was fresh and delicious, the Brussels sprouts perfectly caramelized, and the green beans and plantains were bursting with flavor. The beef tenderloin melted in our mouths, the jerk chicken had just the right kick, and the pasta was rich and satisfying. Let’s not forget the truffle fries—pure perfection! Even the drinks were on point, complementing the meal beautifully. It’s rare to find a restaurant where every single item exceeds expectations, but this place nailed it.    Found this restaurant on restaurant row through Open Table. We had previously eaten at the same space when it was Sangria, one of our favorites. The server was very pleasant and we explained we wanted to be out by 7:20 for an 8:00 show. Drinks took a while to come, then appetizers. Food was excellent! But it was almost an hour before the entrees came! The explanation was that the kitchen was “overwhelmed” by all the pre-theatre diners. Got our entrees AT 7:20 and asked for and received the check at the same time, so we could leave the restaurant at 7:45. Obviously they need to schedule better, and there were even some empty tables. Not sure if they were short kitchen staff, but there were plenty of servers apologizing to the complaining patrons. If you go there pre-theatre, order early!!!

   We told the staff we had a show. Our reservation was for 5:30 and had to leave at 7:40. No one came to take our drink or food order for 40 minutes. I reminded them we had a show when we ordered. After another 40 minutes, we were not served. No one refilled our water while we waited. No one took a second drink order I told the waitress two of us need to cancel our orders. She said it would be right out and apologized. She let us know they were down two people. I wish i would have been told that before. She said the food would be right out. My husband and I had to eat in 10 minutes. These are not McDonalds prices. We paid the bill and ran out. our adult children stayed to finish theirs. It was not the family dinner we were expecting. They took 30% off the bill. The one app came with the meal. The other never came, but was on the bill, which was corrected after my husband pointed it out. This is the third time Ive been there. I return for the ambiance and food. The first time the restaurant was new and service was slow, but that was to be expected at a new restaurant. The second time was great. This was the third and probably the last.

   This is a very cute place. I so want to rate it higher but there are not enough servers; we waited quite a bit for our entrees and some of the food was cold. We had theater tickets so couldn't complain. If they could fix the server issue, I'd go back to try some other entrees.

   This was the perfect pre-theater spot. The lemon drops were immaculate and the escovitch fish was superb. The decor and DJ complimented the Caribbean French mash up vibe. We didn’t have time to taste our way through the menu….all the more reason for us to return!
