   Unfortunately they were out of all fish except halibut. Wagyu skewers are American Wagyu not melt in your mouth Japanese Wagyu (though $$$). Flank was better. Would be better just to call it what it is to set appropriate expectations Manager was cool about it abs gave discount

   I recently had the misfortune of dining at a restaurant that fell short of providing a satisfactory experience. Despite having high hopes, the establishment failed to deliver consistent service, which ultimately left a sour taste in my mouth.From the moment our food arrived, it was clear that something was amiss. The dishes were lukewarm at best, and it was evident that they had been sitting out for a while. We were looking forward to enjoying our meals, but the cold food was a major letdown. To make matters worse, we soon realized that utensils had not been provided. We waited for a reasonable amount of time, expecting that the server would return with the necessary items. We got up from our table and approached the server, politely asking for utensils. The request was met with a somewhat apologetic response, but the delay had already disrupted our dining experience. The lack of attention to detail and inconsistent service was disappointing, to say the least.

   First of all, I love Sago!! My husband and I always have a lovely time when we visit. We spent New Years Eve there and loved it. I brought my cousins who are here from New York last night and though they loved Sago they complained to me about the food. One of them ordered the green salad and it was a huge plate of lettuce (too much) and not much more on there. The other ordered the halibut and we loved the flavors and the portion (good amount). I ordered the tuna tartare and loved it but the portion was small. We also ordered the tuna sashimi and this portion was small as well. The drinks are delicious and the ambiance great!

    What’s the point of recognizing your birthday at the hostess stand, when the server doesn’t mention it, nor offer to comp a dessert after spending $200? Otherwise, service was a bit slow, and they brought us the wrong food. The wagyu was the redeeming factor.
