Sage is probably the most beautiful restaurant in Sarasota or its environs, and the professionalism of the staff is the highest level we have seen in the area. Unlike most joints which stop serving by 9:00 PM, Sage serves dinner until 10:00 PM on weekdays and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, with last reservation at 9:30. We walked there in 4 minutes from seeing the Ballet at the Sarasota Opera House, and I called ahead to say the performance was delayed (it was an actual world premiere). Bless them, they kept the kitchen open just for us, the last diners, and we had the best after-theatre experience since we've lived in Florida, like the old days when we lived on the Upper West Side and went to Lincoln Center.

We enjjoyed exceptional, unobtrusive service from Corine and the boullibase was outstanding, loved that it was served over black rice. SageSRQ is the best Sarasota restaurant!

we're not fancy diners at all but it was worth it for a date night. the rooftop was nice but most of it was blocked for a private party. food was excellent

Everything was excellent from the food to the impeccable service to the ambience. It’s pricey, for sure, but you get what you pay for. We had a party of seven and everyone loved it. Highlights were the Thai bouillabaisse, the rack of lamb and the seasonal salted-caramel pumpkin crème brûlée.

Overall food choices and quality was good. O nly exception was one meal for our first time guests- the lamp was to be medium rare and it came out medium to well. The redo was acceptable but medium nor rare. Service is excellent and we’ll return!

Probably the best restaurant in Sarasota in every respect. You come for the experience not only the food. The ambiance is unique, prestigious and very customer focussed. The menu is short (= THE essence of quality!) and provides dishes you won't get elsewhere. The staff is professional, and observing every step of your table. Great. We were here for the second time and from now onwards it is at the top of our list if we want to go for uncompromised quality.
