   Only bad opinion was the waiting time to have our table, with a reservation at 9:30pm we were sited at 10:20 pm, next time for New Years celebration, you should plan better timing between customers and/or clean tables faster to reduce waiting time. Overall everything was perfect, the food was amazing, the service (David) was the best server, he was funny, always asking if we need something but NOT on top of us, he was so helpful! We had a very nice dinner, the waiting time was worth it. Thank you.

   Had 9pm reservation and didn't get seated till 10pm and then waited another hour till 11pm before we got food, and the baked potato was hard as a rock Will never go back there

   More work is needed on seating people with reservations. We waited 2 hours for a 8:45pm reservations . Bar snacks should be available at the bar. Or light snacks like cheese and crackers. People can actually get sick from hunger while waiting. 2 hours is a long time. We didn’t get food until 11 pm. The wait when reservations were made was unacceptable. Try to plan better next year. Explore different options. Especially when you charge $25.00 per person for cancellations and no shows. And require a credit card in advance. We’re the customer. The champagne toast at midnight was nice!

   I have booked and had a 5 star experience at this location once before for my birthday a year ago. This experience was horrible. We had reservations made weeks in advance. Yet we waited an hour in an over crowded space just to be seated. A family came in and the Dad was upset and demanded to speak to a manager about having to wait. So they seated him ahead of all of us who had been waiting. Their reservation was after our’s as well. We were all shocked they did this ahead of about 12 other parties who were waiting. Our server Keenan was great. The wait for food was beyond acceptable. About 1.5 hours after ordering. Food was good, but the overbooking by the restaurant made the experience a horrible one. Definitely not worth $250 for two meals. In all, we were there in a horribly crowded space for 3.5 hours. I will never go back. Our waiter apologized several times for the wait, the restaurant was giving some other tables free drinks to help the wait, we were not offered anything. But at least our waiter acknowledged it.

   My survey is based on the service we received, mind you it was New Years Eve. Reservation for 8pm, got seated around 8:45pm. Waiter was kind and yes it was a busy night. We got served bread and water fairly quickly and order was taken 10 mins after seated. Bread was warm and delicious. House salads were great, also came out in a reasonable time. After an hour and 15 mins, approximately 10pm, our food comes out. We did however go to leave because it’s 10pm been here since 745pm. The food is out so we turn around and take a seat back at table. Total disappointment, should have left honestly. The sides were ice cold, the steaks were extremely hot but no real taste. The waiter did not refill water after walking by multiple times, had to ask. I know, that sounds snotty but paying this amount of money, I’d like a refill of water without asking please. Either way, definitely was disappointed, food was cold, we understand it’s busy but they definitely took on more than they could chew. The bread was great though. Thank you.

   We had reservations for NYE and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation and once at the table we were able to get an appetizer that was clearly premade, cold calamari. After ordering our entrees, our server checked with us one time to let us know he would bring some bread service, which he never did. That was the last time we saw a server. After 45 more minutes (an hour and a half after we were seated and two hours after our reservation) without our entrees or contact by a server, we left.

   Food was a C+ Prepared one steak wrong. Once redone everyone else was almost finished. Service was good but slow. Arrived at 7:15 and left at 10:25. Third year we have done Ruth Chris. Will try Halls next year.

   We ate at the downtown Greenville Ruth's Chris for our anniversary which also happened to be on New Year's Eve. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.
