   We were greeted by the Manager who told us about plans for future and even asked us if we wanted to watch the game on the TV opposite us. Server was prompt, but needs more training on bar offerings. One drink was wrong (2x). Bartender also needs training? All guests said they would return. Walnut Hills area has cool vibe; hope Rusk and other businesses do well.

   Food was delicious and portion size was very good. Our waiter, Chris took great care of us and everyone was very friendly. We took friends for their birthday and they were both very happy with Rusk. We will definitely go back again.

   The food was ok, not bad but I wouldn’t say it was the best meal I’ve had. Our server had no idea what any of the menu items were, and had no idea how to explain them. Aside from that, he was very friendly, and the noise level was low which was nice, and relaxing. I loved the decor, and the lighting. I feel I would possible return maybe on a summer day for a cocktail.

   We’ve eaten here before and enjoyed it. For NYE we received a message at 5:30 pm (for a 6:30 pm reservation) that they were only offering a Prix Fixe menu. Disappointing that this was not disclosed when we made the reservation. We were underwhelmed with the food choices, service was rushed and it was cold in the restaurant. Overall not a great experience this time.

   Janet - Thank you for your review and for your feedback on the NYE experience. There were several things learned from NYE and our hope is to not allow that type of experience for our customers, clients or staff, going forward.    Waiter was great and provided wonderful service! Food and drinks were great and I really enjoyed the vibe and ambiance of the restaurant. Would 10/10 recommend to others and return!

   We sat upstairs and the service was excellent. The food was delicious-especially the ricotta dip appetizer and the midnighter sandwich. They have igloos set up on the roof and a roaring firepit-perfect for the holiday season.

   The space was cold and we weren’t able to take our coats off. They only had one server for the entire front of house, so it was a half hour from sitting before our order was taken. The coffee was so strong, our one party member couldn’t drink hers. Very disappointing overall. Probably won’t return any time soon.

Regarding the temperature, we’re sorry you felt cold and will ensure our team is more proactive about adjustments upon request. We understand the delay in service was frustrating. While we had three servers handling an unusually large breakfast crowd, we recognize it wasn’t enough, and we’re working to better manage busy times.     We were a party of four and had a great time. Drinks were excellent, food was fantastic and the service was top notch. Will come again for sure.
