I found the sandwiches to be far too big for an afternoon tea and not really nicely displayed. However the mushroom one was extremely tasty. The sweet treats on the other hand were delicious. I can recommend them all but the reindeer choux was my favourite. The scones were also very good - soft and slightly crumbly and served warm. The servers were very attentive and the views from the table over the Bow River were great. An expensive tea but worth the indulgence as a special treat.. Sort out the sandwiches and it will be a 5* review next time.

The views from the huge windows around "The Afternoon Tea" area of the Rundle Bar are unbeatable. Spectacular, awe-inspiring, ... every adjective you can think of that describes views that enrich your life. The food was served in an attractive manner, but it was the server who made the meal special. She was the ultimate professional. Skilled, well-timed, articulate and warm. The server and the views made for a perfect experience.

We attended afternoon Tea. I eat gluten free, and it was one of the most accommodating restaurants we have ever been too. Delicious food and great service!

This was our fourth time experiencing the afternoon High Tea at the Banff Springs Fairmont. We were disappointed to see that the price has gone up yet the quality of the food has gone down. The sandwiches were all so borrowing and simply on plain white bread. It felt cheap.

Service started off a bit slower as we waited a good 15 minutes before being greeted. Besides that our server was very knowledgeable and polite. Food was also good just not sure it’s necessarily worth $90. Although I realize I’m paying more so for the experience and the amazing view.

This was the fifth time we have attended “Afternoon Tea” for our Grandson’s birthday and for the first time rather disappointed. On the positive side, the desserts were lovely! We felt the sandwiches were quite ordinary is both appearance and texture. Simply bread with the crusts cut off and set on edge. There was little to distinguish one from the other. We did enjoy the egg filling and the ham. The others were non discript. We have always this birthday celebration and have high hopes for our next visit.
