   By far the best Persian restaurant in DC. From the moment you walk in, the cozy and warm atmosphere welcome you in. The service is impeccable. And the food tastes fresh and authentic without being too overpowering. Do not fill up on the house made lavash because the portions are quite big, and you need to save room for dessert! Perfect for an intimate date night, but will definitely be returning with friends.

   Food is always fresh and well done! Chicken wings, hummus with lamb, shrimp skewers and the kubideh are our favorite! Service staff is very quick and on top of your order- even though the place is extremely busy! The noise level is a little too high for me- its loud and bustling. Rumi’s has been our go to since they opened!

   This place was recommended to us by some DC locals and we decided to try it out as a celebration of our anniversary. We had a phenomenal experience! The food was outstanding and the portions were very generous. The impeccable service from our server Richard helped make the experience even better!

   The food was phenomenal and our waiter, Zach, was fantastic. He made our night! He was so kind and attentive. We sat outside which was lovely. Highly recommend this place! Great food and great service.

    Richard was amazing!!!! Seriously, he anticipated all of our needs. He even noticed my sister likes small spoons and brought her a fresh one when they cleared her utensils. Small detail that made our night :) Food was so delicious, this is a must go!!!!
