   Delicious food and romantic atmosphere. There were so many thoughtful details like splitting bigger dishes for our individual tasting. Great explanations of Persian flavors. Had an amazing dinner here.

   We had the chicken barg, Cornish hen (Joojeh Kabob), and lamb shank - all of which were extremely scrumptious! We each had a different rice accompaniment also - with each really unique and tasty. The citrus, cherry rice was especially outstanding. We coupled this with the Mirza Ghasemi eggplant and the grilled cauliflower appetizers - both worth it! Wish we had room for dessert but the servings are substantial. The other best thing was Zak, our server (and his support), who were always not far away and very attentive. The whole experience was pleasant and memorable!! Thank you Rumi's!

   Olivia the Manager was fantastic. Her charm and personality welcomed you to the resturant and made the evening a hit. The entire staff went above and beyond and the food was outstanding. Thank you for another great dinner. See you in Houston this November.❤️

   We were in DC at a conference for the weekend, and Rumi was walkable from our hotel. What an awesome experience. Very authentic. Excellent food and service! The portions were large, and we wished we did not have to leave the uneaten food, but we were heading out of town. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food and accommodated our gluten-free dietary needs. If we lived nearby, this would be a regular place to visit!

    Usually koobideh is done well at Rumi’s but part of it was under cooked.
