Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does.     Maria, our server was fabulous! She was friendly, positive, attentive, and made excellent recommendations on new food choices that I’ve never tried. I’ve been to two Rumi’s, the one in Avalon and Buckhead, and this seems a bit larger, yet the ambience here is a little dark for my taste and my 50+ eyes lol. The bathrooms are extremely dark! An additional plus is they validate parking, including valet. As always, the food was excellent; salmon is always perfectly cooked and you must try the crispy roasted potatoes!!!

    Great night out. Lamb Kabob was probably the best and most tender I've ever eaten. Fantastic service.

    It’s hard not to order more food than you can eat. Skip the Sharbat cocktail - order the S.S. poet or Handsome Lion. Order the Merguez hummus, labneh, and mirza ghasemi. The cauliflower was OK. Skip the scallop gallieh. You can’t go wrong with the kabobs.

    We LOVE Rumi's! The Lamb, Mushroom Hummus, Falafels, you can't go wrong. We have dines at all three locations and each time was exquisite! Thank you, Rumi's!!!!!
