   Asked for a quieter table and by the windows of possible. We were seated right behind the host counter and there was an extremely loud private gathering happening on the left side of the restaurant. We could barely hear each other and had to talk at a really loud volume (almost yelling!) I'm not sure why they didn't seat us at the opposite end of the restaurant from the loud group, considering I made the reservation almost a month ago. Food was great and waters were topped up, but we would have preferred not having been seated next to the loud group.

   Experience while at Ruex: Myself and 3 Others in my group attended Ruex for Brunch on a Sunday, we made sure to book reservations for 12:30pm within 24 Hours prior to arrival. When we arrived at 12:28pm we were told we had to wait for our table approximately: 10 minutes, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of making reservations. We were then seated and explained the daily specials and told our server would be with us, a separate group of 4 woman sat down beside us approximately 5-7mins later: we had yet to be addressed by our server, then a server went over to the table seated after us and took their drink order, and came back with their drink order prior to us still even meeting our server or having our drink order taken. So safe to say our service experience/first impressions were not the greatest. This is why we gave a 2/5 Service.

   Brunch with a friend. Interesting and different menu offerings, nicely presented. The cafe is quite noisy but still ok for a conversation.

   Great food, great service, and amazing music on the playlist! Shoutout to the bartender/dj he always brings good vibes. Was also really nice that we could bring a 2 year old with us, the staff were very accommodating. We’ve been a handful of times and the chef never disappoints!

   I had an amazing experience at this café! The staff were incredibly friendly and even surprised me with a little birthday treat, which made the visit extra special. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The cozy atmosphere made it a great spot to relax. Highly recommend for great service and tasty food! Highly Recommend💗🫶🏽

   Great food and coffee. We made a reservation and we were seated quickly. Had to wait a long time for the server to come to our take. Once the server finally came by everything was perfect. The food came in very quickly as well our drinks.

   Came to our favourite brunch spot and they did not disappoint! We ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich and brekkie burger, both were delicious. We finished off with the mango hot cakes which were an absolute treat! Perfect Sunday brunch! Staff were attentive and friendly as per usual.
