   Good ambiance. Place too cold with strong draft hitting our table. My Black Seabass was bland with no seasoning nor sauce, and it took 45 minutes to be served to our table. $9 for 4 small unremarkable bread muffins is abusive. The butter was very good and served at the right temperature, however. The Foie Gras was excellent as an appetizer. The pasta and the roasting chicken were not to be writing about. Slow kitchen with food arriving somewhat warm but not hot as it should have been, probably on account of the cold air conditioning and the open kitchen setup. The expresso was awesomely strong and nice. Service was joyful and adequate

   Incredible!! Forgive me for not knowing the exact details of each item… but let’s start from the beginning…service is always important and the team at Rue Saint Marc is always outstanding!! Thank you for all your attention to detail and making each moment special! The starters: I can never make my mind! Because everything is fresh and seasonal, I need to get a taste of it all. But hands-down, always the best oysters! Tonight’s were the appetizer portion with the ponzu and they were delicious!! Perfectly paired with some rose bubbles. Next, we dove straight into the lamb sausage…wowza! The flavors were out of this world. We paired this with a recommendation from Gabby, Barbaresco! A it brought all the flavors together. We then went to the spring risotto! Seriously? This dish was designed with morels, spring peas, asparagus… and we chose a white burgundy to accompany it; again, perfection!!!! And to follow this with homemade agnolotti pasta & the barbaresco was a whole ‘nother level. To have these dishes, prepared perfectly with the freshest ingredients is truly appreciated! Our final dish was the rabbit entree. Honestly, knocked it out of the park! Each dish, prepared with the same passion…coupled with our wine pairings…delicious is an understatement! Thanks for an incredible evening! You all showcased top-notch ingredients, perfectly executed by chef and team…topped off with superb wine pairings! Cheers!

   We love the food here. Service and ambience too. Wasn’t as crowded as we have seen it on a Saturday night . Maybe the way Open Table took you to the tasting menu option as if that were your only choice (It is not! Their regular menu is fabulous.) caused a problem. I think for awhile we felt that it was a difficult reservation to get, which deterred us a little. But in our view this is one of the top restaurants in town. Our meal last night confirmed it.

   As usual Rue doesn’t disappoint. The service is meticulous and thoughtful and the food is creative and delicious. Get here before they get a well deserved star and the price goes up and reservations are impossible to get.

   Great and creative food. Excellent service and hospitality. Only small disappointment was the rabbit dish, too much bacon and rabbit meat could have been more tender. Highly recommend the seafood dishes.

    We went with the Rue Experience. Everything thing was amazing. The staff was delightful and they even called us by name. A wonderful treat.
