   My family and I visited Rue 561 for the first time on 2/14/25. We were all very excited to try this place out due to the great reviews we've heard. Our server Francesca (I believe was her name..that was the name printed on the check) was amazing! She was able to recommend new menu items that we all enjoyed as well as took care of us in a timely matter without rushing us. The food was great! For appetizers we shared the frito misto which was perfectly battered and cooked and the truffle honey ricotta which was great. As for entrees the spicy rigatone was amazing with just the right amount of spice. The steaks were all cooked to order and had great flavor. Overall a good experience until another girl (busser?) came over and picked up one of our desert plates saying "oh are you all done with this?" while my father was taking a piece with his spoon to eat....clearly we were not done. When we first sat at the table we were notified hat we had 1.5 hours as they were fully booked for the night. We sat at 8p and at 9:30p on the dot that is when the busser came to remove the desert. At that time we didn't even have the check so if we wanted to leave or had to be out at exactly 1.5 hours we couldn't Because of this happening this put a damper on the end of our dinner. For what we were spending to have someone pick up a plate that we were still eating off of I have never seen that happen before. At least our server was sweet and the food was great!

   Great quality food, excellent presentation, super attentive staff. Amanda was so pleasant and knowledgeable. We ordered filets and they were perfect! We will definitely be returning and soon!

   Nice place, good food, great service. Small menu which may turn some people off but I personally would see a few things done really well than a bigger menu of average offerings.

   We have dined here several times and it never disappoints. Our server Chris is always polite and attentive. We brought our friends for their first time and they loved everything which was on point and delicious. We had apps, Steaks, Salmon, Brussel sprouts, coffee and dessert and it was $100 a person with a 22% tip. Next time we must have the Tomahawk for two!
