It is a sunny bitterly cold early afternoon in February. Walking up to the (Brewstillery / winery) we were greeted with the scent of a well established fire that was burning on the side of the building. The drive / parking in front was layered in thick slick ice. Creating a very challenging situation to arrive safely without sliding on it. The thought definitely crossed my mind of a patron coming out that front door and possibly falling after they had a few drinks. Reaching for the door I noticed it’s unique somewhat inexpensive exterior. This carried through with the rest of the building inside and out with seemingly rustic furnishings. We were greeted by a staff member (the only one working at the time). They explained to us how to order alcohol and instructed us to load the menu on our devises. The food / mini snack menu was definitely not the same as the website page . The bar had a few guests that were obviously having a great time but created this bar atmosphere that resonated throughout the small space. Perhaps it was the loudness, run down rustic design that also caught my attention to look at cleanliness and there was lack of that … We got up and left … Honestly if your looking for a guys hang out bar you found it.. but there was no refined winery vibe here..

Our most favorite place to visit while up north. The absolute best owners and staff and I love their beers! Plus they have fabulous Christmas tree ornaments!

We had a wonderful experience Thursday evening at the brewstillery! Shirley was so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful anniversary celebration! The views were outstanding! We each had a flight/wine & beer. I loved the red wine. We will be back next year!

We found this little gem probably about 5 years ago and have made it a staple in our yearly trip. They have only gotten better. We love the ambiance and always have an enjoyable afternoon. The pepper beer is great and so are many of their other beer, wine and food options. Can’t wait to visit again next year!

It was OK, not what I was expecting. Thought it was a much larger and more upscale then it was. It wad a bit pricy for what you received. No personal touch for describing wines you are trying, and thought it would have a larger menu for food.
