Welcome to Roy's Ka'anapali! Since opening "the original" Roy's Hawaii Kai in 1988, I have set out to explore "new directions," blending classic European cooking techniques with unique influences of Asia and the Pacific.     Dined at Roy's with my husband and two children tonight. It's located on a golf course. The views are nothing noteworthy, but the service and food were top notch. I really like the prefixed "keike" menu. It came with an appetizer, choice of entree, and ice cream. Much to the delight of my children, the appetizer came right away. The server was very attentive. I had the butterfish and my husband had the short rib. Both dishes were delicious. We also shared the chocolate ganache cake and chocolate toffee cake. We enjoyed both desserts. Roy's never disappoints.

    Roy’s is always a great dining experience when you’re in Maui. The shot rib seafood and filet were all outstanding choices of ours. Don’t miss it when in town.

    Possibly one of the worst experiences all around. Horrible service, mediocre food, and watered down drink. Do yourself a favor and do not go. It’s sad, because Roy’s at one time was an island favorite of ours, it has sadly declined to an over priced dennys.

    We love Roy’s and never miss it on our trips to Maui. Happy to see they are back up and running a more normal place since last year’s devastating fire. Just like always — the food was really good and service was great! We will be back.

    Menu and space smaller than other Roy’s around the country. Also had a less fancy decor. Didn’t feel like we were eating in a high end restaurant like other Roy’s that I’ve been too. Server was nice and personable but lacked attentiveness. Took a long time to get refills, didn’t offer dessert menu (or free birthday dessert), and didn’t place one of our appetizer orders.

    Cost to value a big question here. It has a nice location. The food was nice the service was nice. It was all just “nice” waited till the morning to post this. Unless you’re in walking distance, I would try another place.

    Our server was excellent. The drinks were delicious. Food was excellent as usual but a little slow getting out. We would have enjoyed seeing the sun set from the picture windows but the blinds were kept up till after it set. It felt too dark in there.
