   The food was delicious as always. There was a new brunch menu and we had the corn deviled eggs as an appetizer. I ordered the avocado toast as a main dish and it was all delicious. We will definitely be back again. It's great for families as well.

   It was nice, essentially an upscale diner. The outdoor patio looked very nice. We’ll try sitting out there next time. We’ll definitely go back. Good food, drinks, and service. Parking garage just down the block.

   This would have been an easy 5 stars but service was good but not great. Service was slow with drinks and checking in after food arrived. I’m really nitpicking. Will definitely go back.

   It was great to see an institution like Royal Restaurant partnering with a local performing arts organization. I will definitely spend my money there and refer my friends. The food was fantastic, the portions were generous and the staff were so friendly and enthusiastic about telling us the history of the restaurant.

   We had a great time. The restaurant was doing a promotion by giving a portion of proceeds to the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra. We'll be back. I was looking as plates as the servers carried the and there are a lot of great looking options.

    This Neighborhood Gem exceeded our expectations! We had the SPANAKOPITA DIP (which was the most delicious ever!) as well as the WARM CAST IRON CORNBREAD, which also was very good. Both of us had the GRILLED SALMON which was perfectly grilled, and came with orzo spanakorizo (made with feta, shallots, lemon, spinach, and garlic-dill butter). Delicious! The service was very welcoming and friendly. While this is a casual, neighborhood place, the food would have shined on King Street! Half price for good bottles of wine was also a plus! Although this was our first visit, it definitely won't be our last.
