Wonderfully inventive food - not your traditional Indian restaurant. The the papadam were especially impressive. Slightly haphazard service - made worse by the incredibly high noise level - everybody was shouting to be able to hear one another, which just made it worse. We chose to eat a mix of starter plates, which gave us a rich variety of tastes. But they all arrived at about the same time, so there wasn't space on the table for them., and the experience felt very rushed. Even though we hadn't ordered any mains ("big plates"), the items we ordered that would normally accompany them (naan, raita) were treated as the second course - we had to ask for them to be brought with the rest of the food. We visited in mid November. It was really cold, even though we were sitting indoors - and many fellow diners also kept their coats on, so it wasn't just us..

As a foodies my wife and I really enjoyed the food. The chef really surprised our palate with the available choice of food, dessert and cocktails.

The meats, even the ones in sauces, were dry. As the food came very quickly, I'm guessing that the food had been pre-made and then sat under a heating element. The naan was also dry and tasteless -- I've gotten better from the frozen food section at an Indian grocery. Much below expectation. But service was attentive, ambiance nice.

This was my second visit in 2 weeks. The first one was ok and I wanted to try again. The menu is innovative but some dishes miss on both presentation and taste . The crispy sea bream small plate was just fried fish in overcooked batter. The chicken for the Malai chicken large plate was dry and overcooked and difficult to cut and share . It tasted like a piece of roast chicken just dropped into some malai gravy rather than cooked in it . The jack fruit toast was soggy . The behl was missing from the Avocado behl- no crunch. The food service was quick but the drinks service left a lot to be desired . I wish them well

We tried almost all the small plates on the menu. Some were decent - but for the most part, the flavors missed the mark for the folks in our party.

Service could improve. Server took our menus before we ordered our food and it was very mediocre service experience. The rest of it was a great good experience
