Since 1909, each Grisanti chef- Rinaldo, Elfo, Big John, David, Ronnie, Alex and Frank- has brought a singular touch to our family legacy in Memphis. Now that we are guardians to a more than century-old Tuscan culinary tradition, we make it our mission to create "Antico Nuovo" dishes for your delight in our beautiful and comfortable dining room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our impromptu dinner at Grisanti’s Monday night. Our server was excellent, placed our drink order and reviewed the specials. The prosciutto wrapped shrimp appetizer should be a full time addition to the menu. The toasted ravioli is a classic, and we saved the sauce for our bread throughout the meal. DH had the chicken leontini, which again a classic, good as always (better the next day as leftovers, YUM!). I had the tortellini. This is a dish I have skipped over because of memories of tortellini from childhood (store bought, thick and doughy, filled with cheese). These tortellini were light and delicate, filled with a mixture of meats, and served in a very light sauce/broth. I cannot believe I’ve gone without ordering this before. We were so full we skipped desserts. Looking forward to our next meal!

All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. From our wine selections to our entrees, we enjoyed it all. I had pizza for the first time and was delighted with it. Nice thin, crispy crust, with lovely fresh mozzarella.

Meal was fabulous, our server was great, only negative was the rowdy people in the booth behind us. They were SO LOUD, we couldn’t hear each other talk. When the server tried to tell us the specials, she had to yell.

Ronnie Grisanti’s is consistently excellent. One problem, the veal piccata is so good, I order it every time. My wife is the same way with the eggplant Parmesan.
