The Rocky Face Tavern at Springdale Resort has become one of Western North Carolina's favorite destinations. In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, under the shadow of Cold Mountain with sweeping views of the Rocky Face Mountain, our upscale casual dining experience will soon become your favorite choice for a night out! Under the direction of Page and Sid Truesdale, Haywood County natives, they have created a menu of Southern favorites and serve them in an ambiance that is both inviting and captivating. When you visit the Smoky Mountains, be sure to make your reservation!

                                                                      Rocky Face never disappoints, I had the Pimento Cheese Burger, my favorite. My husband had the Asian Steak. Both were amazing. Worth the drive, not only for the food, service and a 5 star effect but the decorations are outstanding

                                                                      My book club met their for our annual holiday dinner. We were seated at a round table which we always appreciate for easy conversation with everyone at the table. It's surprising how many restaurants don't have round tables. Our waitress was very attentive and professional and friendly. Everyone liked the food they ordered. I again had the Tuscan Chicken which I seem to always order there because it's so good. One of our members' birthday was yesterday and she was comped a dessert even though she was full. She was given it to go in a to-go box and she appreciated it. Two people in our party had never been there before and were very impressed and plan to go back.

                                                                      Had a wonderful thanksgiving dinner at RFT. The food was exceptional and service was very good. Would have liked to see a seasonal soup or bisque on the menu. Did not care for the buffet tables being outdoors under a heated tent. It was very cold and uncomfortable. Please invest in better quality chafing dishes and service ware, and do something to improve/seasonally decorate the buffet tables - they looked industrial and sloppy. Notwithstanding, my last comments, overall we had a great time and enjoyed an excellent dinner. One of our favorites in the area. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend RFT

                                                                      Delicious Thanksgiving buffet! All the favorites plus a lovely selection of desserts and it all was better than homemade. Warm and inviting atmosphere. I'm still thinking about the sweet potato and pecan casserole and the bread pudding. Just wished I had left overs.
