The Rocky Face Tavern at Springdale Resort has become one of Western North Carolina's favorite destinations. In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, under the shadow of Cold Mountain with sweeping views of the Rocky Face Mountain, our upscale casual dining experience will soon become your favorite choice for a night out! Under the direction of Page and Sid Truesdale, Haywood County natives, they have created a menu of Southern favorites and serve them in an ambiance that is both inviting and captivating. When you visit the Smoky Mountains, be sure to make your reservation!

We have been to the Tavern many times and this was the best event yet. Great planning and organization. All tables were occupied and everything went smoothly. Food was delicious. See you in February!

They did a great job pulling off this New Years Eve dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the music, ambiance and food. While there was some confusion about where the food deliveries need to go for the bartender's customers (he served us at a high-top table), our meals made it to us in good shape. Hey! Why not offer complementary glasses of champagne with the dinner package next year? It's a New Year's Eve tradition! Great work, much appreciated, and we may do this again next year.

Great experience in a stunning location. The views are lovely, service was impeccable. I enjoyed a fresh tomato basil soup, and a garden salad with a crab cake. The lettuce was fresh and the house dressing were a perfect accompaniment to a generous crab cake. Delicious. My partner enjoyed a sandwich on a brioche bun with house made chips. It was lunch menu. A+. Looking forward to returning!

I had the flounder sandwich and it was excellent. The room was decorated and very appealing and inviting with a fire and wonderful view of the grounds. There is a patio and plan to visit in the spring and sit outside. Everything was well done and definitely recommend. A beautiful drive through Cruso from Waynesville.
