   We went for taco Tuesday. We had a party of eight I personally ordered five tacos and when they all came out, I didn’t receive the taco that I ordered. One of them was a surf and turf, I asked the waitress who seemed really irritated, which one was the surf and turf? She Gave me an attitude and said that it’s the one with the shrimp on it! which I did not see on my plate at all. Was too hungry to argue so I just ate whatever tacos I had on my plate which by the way was cold. We proceeded to ask her if there was an issue and she tried to explain to us that all the tacos came out at once and she was very frustrated. Look, we were there on a Tuesday night. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all. How can you get taco orders mixed up? should be better organization in the back room so this doesn’t happen to loyal paying customers? The gentleman who took our order his name is Chris took very well care of us.! Great attitude!

   I'm a San Diego native and never dared to go to this place before, but decided to go with a coworker for Taco Tuesday and was REALLY impressed by the tacos! I ended up eating 6 or 7 of them, and the drinks were great too. I will be going back!

   The food was fresh, plentiful, and as flavorful as we recalled after not having the pleasure of dining here in nearly 2 decades. What a treat! Our waiter was fantastic. We appreciated the hospitality and assistance in making sure we encourage experience. A definite must whenever we make it to San Diego. Thank you!

   Another wonderful dining experience at Rockin’ Baja. The ambience is fun and makes you forget you’re in a big city. The food is delicious and you get big portions. Staff is always friendly.

   Food great as usual! Service was the worst ever! Had to ask for tortillas after my food was delivered. They never came back with the tortillas. Then had to ask for everything twice . It’s like we were forgotten in the corner . None the less food was amazing ‘

   We went for “restaurant week” great menu. We did have to ask for the restaurant week menu. It was not offered. Food was delicious. Just didn’t like the “5% surcharge” they added to our bill to help cover costs for their employees. So that means that their employees get less of a tip from us. Overall, it was a great experience as always, we are locals and we’ve been there many many times.

    The atmosphere is great, the salsa bar is probably my favorite part! Food is always really good, parking was easy and we were seated pretty quickly. I think our waiter was over tasked, he was also serving a party in the back. I had to ask for a refill of soda from a different waiter. My mom didn’t get her tortillas until it was time to check out. We were never attended to, not even a how is the food after we got our food but the endless chips and salsa bar saves this place. I will be back again just for that.
