   Beautiful restaurant! Service was good; noise level was very loud, so having conversations was difficult. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad, which tasted good except for the burnt chicken so had to pick around that. Overall fine experience.

   Visited this restaurant for the third time. The food is consistently excellent, and the ambiance is absolutely beautiful. However, the service remains a disappointment. It has always been extremely slow, and during this visit, the staff’s unfriendly attitude was especially disheartening—something you don’t expect when spending $350 for dinner for two. While the food and setting are fantastic, the service experience and noise level unfortunately detracts from the overall enjoyment.

   The food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. We had a birthday in the group and we served a lovely warm chocolate chip cookie with a candle… Just right.

   Our party of 3 was very fortunate to have Sophie for our server. She attended to our needs without being asked and was very pleasant in her interactions with us. We hope to see her again the next time! Our dinners were excellent, with two of our orders being the lobster roll. The charred broccolini, asparagus, and crispy artichoke were also very tasty. Our meal was topped off with an excellent butterscotch brûlée! The restaurant is very elegant, and suitable for very special occasions or simply a dinner out with friends.

   We had a great time. Food was excellent from start to finish. Of special note is their whole branzino, and butterscotch brûlée. The service was great as well. Definitely worth a visit.

   The restaurant itself is quite beautiful. The food is average. The sliced beef dip was well done and no horseradish served with the au jus. So overpriced. The burger was below average. The lobster roll with caviar was above average but not excellent. Truffle fries were average. They were out of the bottled beer I ordered - inexcusable for a restaurant. They were out of chocolate chip cookies for the birthday we celebrated there. The server forgot it was a birthday. He brought over a dish of plain vanilla ice cream after we'd paid the bill. BTW for a hamburger, lobster roll, french dip, french fries and 2 glasses of their cheapest wine and 1 non alcoholic drink - the bill was $240.00 before tip. OMG! I have no problem spending that much but not for this. Big disappointment.

   We might have been unlucky with this one. Looks like there was a mix-up with our order and we ended up waiting for an hour for our food to show up. Wait staff was very apologetic, with repeated assurances that the food is coming, but even after that it took a while. In the end we did not get our full order. I appreciate the fact that they comp'ed us for the main course that showed up late, but the afternoon is ruined. We went there to celebrate my wives birthday, which turned into a disaster. It's a shame, we were thinking of going back there for dinner before all that. It is very hard to imagine going back now. On a positive note, my kid did like his burger.

   On my visit today (1/20/2025), Service was extremely slow. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad and it took forever to arrive. The family next to us ordered the same salad and it took so long they had to ask the waiter to check on it and by the time I paid for our meal, he still was waiting for his salad. The ambience and service at RH Yountville is more enjoyable in my opinion.

    We had brunch for my sister’s birthday. We were very disappointed. Not much of a selection but aside from this, the food was so lackluster and was served lukewarm. Small portions too. It felt like it was made and kept under a heat lamp. For four people we spent over $200. Three of us had the two eggs and potatoes and it came with a garlic toast. Potatoes were so great and overdone. We had to order a side of bacon. One had the Swedish pancakes. Four small pancakes with a large square of butter on each. We had lattes and coffee…. Again nothing was served hot. Also we kept our jackets on because it was so cold, perhaps to keep the smells of food out of the rest of the store. It’s a beautiful setting, which is why it is even more disappointing. I wouldn’t rush to go back.
