   Our family had the most wonderful dinning experience this evening. Everything from the service to the food was outstanding. Jess was attentive, welcoming and helpful with the service and menu options. That’s what I call top notch service for an elevated dining experience. This place is a must go to in Newport Beach.

   Food was good. Atmosphere beautiful. Reception desk very poor. Five people at the reception area that did not acknowledge us standing right at the podium. No greeting what so ever. Very poor first impression.

   BEWARE The service and the staff were lovely however, when the bill comes they have added a 4% mandate fee …an employee surcharge It’s a nominal amount, but to me it’s a total turn off. .. they sneak it in on the bill They removed the fee FYI

   Very beautiful restaurant. I have dined at the Yountville and SF locations and wanted to check this one out in OC. The ambiance is beautiful and the service was 10/10. The food is the only reason I don’t give this place five stars because for the price it could have been much tastier. The wine was good but the speciality drinks are not so good. I ordered the RH rose specialty drink and it had way too much ice in it all I could taste was water. Overall though it’s a very beautiful upscale restaurant.

   Wow! Gorgeous place to eat and drink. Hard alcohol still not available here yet but the wine and beer drinks were very nice. The food was very tasty and the best past was the service. Bryan took great care of us and we had a great experience. It’s a gorgeous place.

   Fabulous restaurant. Beautiful ambience, excellent service and the food was amazing. Probably one of the highest priced restaurants in all of Newport Beach for lunch. We have a favorite in Gulfstream and RH shines in all other aspects except the pricing. We don't mind paying high prices for dinner yet for lunch it was a lot for a $32 salad that didn't have much in size. Some items priced great though. We are glad you are here. this is just a little constructive review.

   Lovely ambience. Party of two. We were first seated at a two top near the far corner by a covered window. Table was facing the window with the screen down and the heat blazing through. No view. Just screen. Not an ideal set up. They did not think that through which comes as a surprise. We asked to be moved. It was very warm and sitting there looking at a white screen was bizarre. They were accommodating with our request to move. Server approached and asked if we dined there before and we shared that it was our first time. Instead of going over the menu we had to ask her to share a bit about the menu. When we asked she covered the spritzers and the salads and stopped there. Found that strange. Had to prompt her at least two more times to share more about other aspects of the menu. This is basics - a server should easily be able to touch a bit on all sections of the menu. Just some highlights. We opted for the artichokes for a starter. They were delicious. Crispy and light. Potatoes were cooked well with a bit of crisp on the outside and the rosemary was a perfect pairing with their aioli. I opted for the ribeye sandwich ($32 a la carte) I love a ribeye and realize it is marbled, but there was far too much fat here. With every bite the fat snapped back at me. It made me a bit queasy tbh. My friend ordered the shrimp salad ($36). Found it to be tasty and well balanced. Pricing was on the higher end for a lunch salad and sandwich. Bill was $125 for two. We were both surprised there is no seated bar in this restaurant. A missed opportunity in our opinion. Especially with that view. I think this is something to reconsider. Javier’s made that mistake and found themselves doing a costly renovation down the road which seemed obvious to diners at the outset. Thought it was good, not great. Was hoping for more after the long month wait to get a reservation.

    Besides the hair in my salad it was a great experience. I would change the fried chicken sandwich to all white meat, I figure for that kind of money it should be. Stunningly beautiful environment
