Talk about a wow experience. That partnered with delicious food, nice ambiance and did I mention the service. Paying the extra to have happy birthday flowers and a happy birthday card signed by the entire staff touched my mom and was worth it. My last comment has to be about the dessert. The crème brûlée and the chocolate mousse were outstanding. My husband got the rabbit special, he said it was “just ok”. Great date place. I tasted & it was moist, \n tender & good. I had the Moules Frites - \n Mussels & fries. Lots of Mussels; however, \n they were tiny & the dish w/ cream broth \n lacked flavor. The Fries though! This restaurant is consistently excellent, no matter what you order. Wait staff always attentive and knowledgeable. You would not know how great this place is looking at its tiny front in a tiny lot. Also, if the tiny lot is full, you can proceed another block down Moraga Road to park at Lafayette Elementary School. Parking in their lot is $2/h until 7pm then it is free.
