Das Red Sea in Bonn ist ein Restaurant, das man kennen sollte. Das liegt zuerst einmal daran, dass der Eingang zum Restaurant im Hinterhof des Hotel Domicil und damit ein wenig versteckt liegt. Doch wer den Weg in das eritreische Lokal einmal gefunden hat, wird sicher immer wieder kommen. In einem zwanglos-eleganten Ambiente mit einigen afrikanischen Designelementen genießt man authentische und optisch wunderbar angerichtete Spezialitäten, z.B. das landestypische Sauerteig-Injera, das man mit Fleisch vom Rind, Lamm oder Hühnchen und dem eritreischen Curry Berbere speist. Das Red Sea in der Thomas-Mann-Straße bietet aber auch eine gute Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Abgerundet wird der Besuch im Red Sea durch die Gastfreundschaft des Teams rund um Gastgeberin Gergishu Yohannes. Für uns ist der Eritreer im Bonner Zentrum ein ganz heißer Insider-Tipp!

Sehr leckeres Essen, leider ist das Restaurant sehr laut und der Service kam nicht so gut hinterher. Dafür sind die Kellner sehr freundlich und bemüht.
