It was terrible That place doesn’t have heat everybody was eating with coats and hats. The service was the worst we ordered appetizers and entrees. When the entrees were brought out instead of the four that were ordered only three came to the table. After waiting a considerable amount of time we asked where the fourth entree was and the waiter brought us salt and pepper. Ended up the waiter never ordered the fourth entree. At the end we were comped the fourth entree but the damage was already done. On the other side the food was good

I came in with high expectations, but the experience didn’t live up to them. The wait time for the food was long, and the portion sizes were shockingly small for the high price. My guests and I felt the value didn’t match what we paid. We also ordered the Aztec teapot, which was disappointing. It was much smaller than expected and overloaded with ice, which watered down the drink. The atmosphere, music, and cleanliness of the bathrooms were nice, but the food, service, and overall comfort missed the mark. It was also uncomfortably cold since there weren’t enough heaters for everyone

The atmosphere and wait staff were amazing, great music, delicious and glowing cocktails (we had the Mora-Mora and Urban Oasis, came with a small waterproof light for aesthetic) and the disco ball was a nice touch. The food, however, was the turning point. The appetizer (Birria Bao Buns) was pretty good, came out in about 5 minutes which was nice. The main was the problem (I ordered the Sauteed Pepper Steak Lomo Saltado, which looked amazing in the picture, but when comparing the picture to what was on my plate, it was a night and day difference.) Majority of my plate was composed of the white rice (which also to note, not great to think I’m piercing my fork into a piece of steak under the rice, only to find out the rice was clumped together and very hard, almost like it was refrigerated prior in the pot it was cooked in, dumped on my plate, and reheated, but no love was given to it to make me think otherwise. Sloppy mistake if that’s the case) and French fries (no where near golden brown like in the photo, very pale, though still a bit crisp). The steak was scarce and in the smallest portion, sandwiched between the rice and fries. Overall, not pleased with my meal. And one other tidbit, double check the prices. For my plate alone, their menu stated it was $37, but when I compared to DoorDash (they have more pictures of the menu items) they had it for $29. Now I’m no math genius, or even a business owner to know how this works, but wouldn’t you charge more on DD to account for the DD charge itself as well? So they’re charging less on DD, but more in house where you are automatically charged gratuity on top? Overall, I’m very happy that I reside in Detroit, and that this place isn’t an option for me. Will not be returning when I come back to NY.

Servers were very nice and efficient. Food however was sub par and expensive. Portions were ok. Everything we ordered was Extremely salty. Cesar salad and guacamole was solid. Won’t be going back unfortunately.
