Service was not good for the level of restaurant and price of food. We had a 7:30 reservation, and Felt like we were an inconvenience on a Thursday night. Also, our food was served to a different table. It’s one thing to mix up plates at the table but gave our food to a different table altogether. There were only 3 tables in the room…

René is the ideal date night spot. I ordered the Sea Bass and it was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The chocolate soufflé was perfection. Highly recommend you enjoy your evening here!

We dined here in early April and had a lovely experience from cocktails to dessert. The only hiccup was that our waiter was not notified when we sat so we did wait for a while, but our waiter Josh was absolutely incredible was very kind and knew all of the answers to our questions over the menu down to the coffee. I had one of their specialty old fashions made with Mezcal that gave this particular old-fashioned a whole new perspective the smoky orange balance out the sweet notes in the Mezcal for appetizers. We had the arugula salad and the bread plate, which we both devoured, and I would absolutely recommend getting them . The pasta was the highlight for me. I had it with the bread and with my pasta and we look forward to coming back soon.

We were looking forward to celebrating our anniversary there. But it turned out to be disappointing. A plumber was working on pipes near our table so we finally asked tobe seated elsewhere. Food is mediocre at best. Risotto was of a soup consistency, fish was too thin and la d for a dover sole. Service was nothing special.

We were very hopeful that this would be a very fine French restaurant. The menu seems to fit that. The service was a bit slow. Appetizers - roasted bone marrow and escargot. The escargot would have been better if made in the traditional way. Instead it was prepared with mushrooms. The bone marrow was over-salted. Main courses - foie gras and dover sole. The foie gras was a bit overcooked for my taste -but the accompaniments were delicious. The dover sole was very good but would have been better served alone on the plate instead of sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes. Sides - creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin. Creamed spinach was very rich. The potatoes were just ok. Wine was good. Chocolate soufflé was also a disappointment. It tasted more like cake than soufflé.
