   My partner and I celebrated our anniversary and dined yesterday evening (01/13). Our reservation was for 7pm and our server was Gavin. To note, my partner and I have dined on numerous occasions and this was our only terrible experience. We were sat immediately and enjoyed the table location, but other than a tea light candle nothing denoted our anniversary. Gavin greeted within 2 minutes, but didn’t give his name until after we ordered entrées. He did not ask if we were celebrating a special occasion and did not tell us happy anniversary until his final farewell. When giving recommendations he fixated on price point. He used words like “bargain” and “cheaper”. When trying to connect through a story he said, “bang for your buck”. Gavin was giving menu explanations on crusts and sauces and said, “you know, like when you cook a steak with salt and pepper at home”. He spoke to us the entire time as if we were not part of the demographic of individuals that come into fine dining and prime steakhouses regularly. He said he was the in-house Sommelier, but his wine recommendations were not aligning with what we were deciding between or ultimately choosing. He was randomly upselling. He split the cork during wine presentation and his pour was messy. The burger and fries came out hot and were cooked perfectly. The smoked bacon creamed corn was on the colder side. The black truffle risotto came out hot and was wonderful. The Wagyu skirt came out cooked medium-well to well-done, but the temperature order was medium rare. When inspecting the steak, the individual who dropped it off argued with my partner about the cook. My partner said when she dined previously it was crispy on the outside, the male told her that was “impossible to do with a steak like this”. We have both worked in the service industry, so I gave over a 20% tip, but Gavin was not a quality server. Mahogany, Ranch, Ruth’s Chris, have all provided better experiences. We regret not choosing Vast. We won’t be back.

   It's been years since I'd dined at Red Prime. From the greeters to the wait staff, everyone was welcoming and professional. The food was amazing! I won't wait this long to come back.

   Food was great as usual. Had a reservation for three but when we arrived we chose to dine in the bar so we could keep up of the Cotton Bowl score. Drinks were delicious and the staff took excellent care of us. Will definitely be back as soon as possible.

   It would have had 5 stars but we were originally seated where a frigid blast of air would come in any time the door was opened.

   My wife and I ate there for our anniversary! One of the best steaks we have had in Oklahoma City. The fixed menu selection and price was outstanding. Will definitely eat here again.

   Always an incredible experience at Red Prime. Their staff is impeccable and attentive without being annoying. We each had the Prix Fixe Menu and it was more than enough food and cooked to perfection. I had the seabass and am still dreaming about it. I love also the atmosphere here as it is quiet and comfortable and everyone is made to feel welcome. Already looking forward to my return.

   This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! Every course was just spectacular. But what really made it five star was Gavin! He is so knowledgeable, so kind, so fun to talk to. He made wonderful recommendations for each course and he was spot on with each one of them. Not to mention he’s a great sommelier too! He really went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a restaurant that will knock your socks off, definitely go here. We all had the fillet and it was just perfection! Every other component of the meal was also perfect.
