Rasoi opened in 2006 and quickly established itself as a neighborhood family restaurant serving regional cuisines of India.
Our menu embodies a unique blend of ethnic and progressive dishes with vegetarian at its heart but also offering meat, poultry and seafood dishes, mostly designed for sharing.

At Rasoi our philosophy is simple. We aim to convey our passion for regional Indian cuisine, through a quest for perfect ingredients and techniques.

It was a chill and rainy day, made warmer and brighter by a Saturday lunch at Rasoi. I am vegan and am obsessed with the vegan thali offered on Saturday. One reason I love Rasoi is its large and varied menu of vegan options. My companion, visiting from NH, is not, and thoroughly enjoys the choices for omnivores. Today she had shrimp korma with basmati rice, which she pronounced "delicious".

We love Rasoi! They never disappoint. It's one of our favorite restaurants. The food is a great quality with interesting specials! Drinks are delicious; alcoholic and non (mmmmmm... Mango lassi!!). The atmosphere is inviting and warm. The service is outstanding! Thank you AJ ad Sabina!!!

I enjoyed a rare for me midweek lunch at Rasoi. I had been craving a dosa, and today's did not disappoint. I prefer to order it plain, accompanied by a side of vegan saag. It was thin and crisp, perfect for scooping the exquisitely spiced greens. Accompanied by delicious lentil stew and tamarind chutney (I avoid coconut) and my must-have Rasoi green salad, the meal was everything I needed after a busy morning. A pot of Bhudda's Dream tea, another obsession, rounded out another great meal at Rasoi. As always, the congenial and efficient staff were impeccably warm and attentive. They got my vote in the Valley Breeze "Best Indian" restaurant category. They are, in my opinion, THE best restaurant in RI.
