The birth of classic cuisine in India can be attributed largely to necessity. As early civilizations sought ways to preserve their food, they discovered a large family of ingredients that would not only preserve food but would also promote good health. Blending these amazing spices became an art form over time. Achieving the perfect proportion of spices is absolutely vital to the creation of authentic, delicious Indian dishes.
Rangoli was opened in 2000, by sisters Rashmi Rughani and Varsha Makhecha. Joined by Chef Gill, the dream of owning a restaurant became a reality. With help from their husbands and business partners, Jagdish and Amit, the restaurant grew to include Catering Services, On-site Banquet Facility, and Rangoli Express

Good food, mostly good service - except for delays getting water and bill. There were TVs all around the restaurant with what appeared to be Indian music videos playing. Some of these videos were a bit racy, offensive and inappropriate for children (not that we had any.Is this helpful?

We’ve been here before and had a great experience. This time the service was terrible. We waited over 20 minutes to submit our order and then an hour to get our food. Food was as amazing as before but we had not anticipated this being an over 2 hour dinner.Is this helpful?

All of us absolutely loved the food. For a couple of years it hasn't been quite such a good standard (in our opinion) but now - wow!! Yummy. PS our group of 8 are all Brits so we have opinions about this!!!Is this helpful?
