   This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Our waiter was amazing with just enough service--not overbearing and not inattentive--just right! We has a ceviche appetizer that was a clam ceviche. It was beautifully prepared with a nice habanero kick to it but I didn't love the clams. They didn't stand up to the marinate but any disappointment ended there. Our entrees were both perfectly cooked and prepared. We had a short rib ravioli that was a five star dish and a pork marinated in a citrus habanero. It was also fantastic but there short rib ravioli was so good I doubt anything could have topped it. Everyone was very professional and this place caters to upscale PV so don't go in expecting a cheap meal and tacos. It's not that.

   The warm welcome and the smiling faces from staff started us out on a positive note. We were greeted promptly and I tucked into a delicious minty n/a watermelon thing. Nothing was rushed and service was personal and efficient. The food was fine. The sweetbread skewer was texturally unpleasant but flavor wise did the job so I guess fine too. The empanadas and the gorditas were sweet on sweet and the banana salsa offered no escape from that flavor profile. Maybe we ordered wrong but they both just felt very one note. The entrees were markedly better but still nothing gave us a wow moment. The fish of the day was a miso corvina which was good. The lamb quesadilla was also decent made better by a good roasted red salsa but that does not a meal make, and the ravioli they’re “known for” was underwhelming (read again: sweet) Again nothing disappointed us and for 5 dishes plus 3 drinks for $150us (with tip) it’s not expensive compared to US prices and experiences, so can’t complain just won’t rave either.

   Chef prepares food that is only served here. Very creative and tasty. You will not find this kind of detail to preparation of each dish. The setting is quiet and delightful in the garden!!

   The magic of this beautiful, quaint, spot tucked under a giant rubber tree in Puerto Vallarta starts at the front door. Upon entering you are literally dwarfed by one of the largest rubber trees you will ever see, especially in such an urban setting! The beautiful floor of the entrance to the restaurant lights your way through to a serene, if not somewhat plain setting inside. Outside on the back patio, a gorgeous green mural on the large privacy wall echos the tree out front, balancing the space. Twinkly lights contribute to the ambience and romance of the outdoor terrace which overlooks the kitchen. The service was amazing from start to finish. Always present but never rushing. Perfectly timing each dish. No waiting for water or drinks or the check. The server suggested some appetizers and so we started off with two empanadas which were adorned with a tasty, slightly spicy tomato sauce. The octopus was incredible, not over cooked or rubbery, but tender and flavorful, charred a bit to balance the sauce. The Mahi entree special with caviar and lime sauce was incredible. Sides of cauliflower and green beans were equally special in their own way, creamy and perfectly seasoned and acidic with granita crunch on the beans. The amazing French rose wine was very affordable. We each had two glasses. And the dessert!! OMG. the chocolate ice cream was the best I've ever had. The other three flavors were also delicious but the chocolate stole the show. All for about $60/head. Incredible.

   This was a diamond in the ruff tucked away. Excellent and accommodating service. I believe the gentleman's name was Mike or Michael assisted us while making us smile. I was congested and still tasted every excellent morsel of my meal. Definitely get the steak and get it medium it was so tasty along with the Mahi Mahi fish.
