Come enjoy a cocktail in our Tranquilo Lounge on one of our comfy velvet couches with your friends, or grab dinner in our dining room for a date night while watching our chefs create our beautiful dishes in our open concept kitchen. With over 90 Tequila and Mezcals to choose from, you'll have the option to sip on our patio, at one of the two full-service bars, in the Tranquilo Lounge or in the dining room while enjoying scratch-made tacos or ethically raised bone-in ribeye.

Open Friday and Saturday nights with late night snacks from 10-11pm and good vibes till 12am.

Quemar was an incredible experience. Being our first time the staff gave us a complimentary appetizer and chef came to our table. The food was outstanding and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Hands down the best restaurant in Hampton Roads.

I've been to Quemar about a dozen times now, but I've cooled on them quite a bit. They need to work out temperature regulations of the food. Half the time it comes out cold. It is a wood-fired restaurant, after all! The server last night came to our table 2 times in 2 hours. So, the tip reflected that. She just was not good at her job. I have had good servers other times, however.

This was our first meal at Quemar. We loved the space and energy. We were welcomed nicely with a complimentary appetizer. Our wobbly table was fixed by our waiter, Jesus, who was very sweet. The restaurant got busier as the evening progressed. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, delicious: loaded yuca, guac, ceviche, chicken al pastore tacos, the carne asada sandwich. The margaritas were yummy. all in all a very pleasurable evening of food!

Everything was awesome. The food was great!!! The setting couldn't be beat (Chef's table). The overall New Years Eve party vibe was fun but loud with the DJ in the lounge. We enjoyed every bit of it. We will definitely be back, and we will bring more friends and family with us.
