Quattro Ristorante, Grille & Pizzeria, is restaurateur Frank DePasquale’s forth restaurant in the North End, hence the name which means 4 in Italian. Quattro is also located on the 4 major corners of the North End, Boston’s Famous Italian Neighborhood. Inspired by Italy’s passion for high quality foods prepared with fresh ingredients, Quattro brings delicious foods from simple locally grown ingredients. Frank DePasquale does something few restaurateurs have every tried, melding a full service restaurant that serves wine, beer and cordials with a kitchen equipped with a rotisserie, a char broiler and an authentic Neapolitan brick style pizza oven. Quality has been the only focus and the essential ingredient at Quattro, from the ingredients to the preparation of the food to the service. Quattro’s unique menu appeals to a wide variety of people by touching on all categories, fresh meats, seafood, pork and poultry prepared right in front of your eyes on our custom built rotisserie.

Granted it was Thanksgiving day, but the service was rushed in taking our order, I'm sure to get us in and out. Total time at restaurant was barely an hour. But the clearing of our very small table never happened. We were done with our appetizer for just a few seconds when main course came out. The runner with our main courses had to clear out appetizers plates before he could serve us our meals. The lasagna was overcooked and mushy, like it had been leftover and reheated. The drinks were weak. The Cacio e pepe was just cacio, no taste of pepper at all. Prices were high. In all fairness, I would like to try the place on a week day, and order the pizza which I think is there specialty.

Beautiful red wine. Professional service. Calamari has the right amount of salt. Everyone at our table had excellent entrees. Sadly we did not order dessert.

Service was absolutely horrible and I would not go back. We were forced out after 30 minutes, after a 40 minute wait with a reservation which we were on time for. Food was fine but the food did not overshadow the atrocities of the service.

Momma’s Chicken soup is the best around. I go there just for the soup.

Great spot in the North End! We were looking for good old standbys of Pizza and chicken parm, which were delicious.

The manager, Mike, is awful. And actually scary - he got really angry in front of everyone. He’s clearly abusive. We were happy to get out of there due to the hostile environment.
