   I really enjoyed my first visit here last year February. This second visit was a little disappointing. Front reception and wait staff were not welcoming at all. Poor service just trumps everything else. The food and cocktails are good but I doubt I would go back again. There are too many restaurants in the city with much better service and equal or better food and cocktails

   Wonderful food and service - best onion soup I have had (including in Paris) and always always get the butter garnie which is a meal in itself!

   The restaurant is lovely and large; waitstaff is excellent and the ambiance is great. The French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had even in France! The rest of the steak food ie hanger steak and steak and pomm frites were average but not superb. The roasted chicken was delicious. We did not order the butter service.

   Was truly hoping for a better experience. End to end it was average. Seems like a great place for a cocktail at the bar, steak was good, not great and Dover sole was mediocre - candidly my least favorite Dover Sole dish. Overall OK!

   Don’t let the name define the restaurant. We were not expecting the elevated white linen experience. The place is gorgeous, with French brasserie touches all over. The food is elevated as well. We enjoyed the snails and the spicy Caesar to start, then the Branzino and special French onion burger with tasty frites. Desert was not as great taste wise as the presentation, we had the salted caramel gateau which comes wrapped in plastic and dramatically pulled up to release the caramel sauce which then cascades over the cake and the plate.

   Extremely disappointing service. Waiter took 30 mins just to put in drink orders. Waited over 60 mins to get any food. Service was comoletely unacceptable and the staff should be pretty embarrassed.

   We waited about 15 minutes before our table was ready. Our initial waiter was the worst we have ever had. It was abundantly clear he had no desire to help us. I asked him a couple of questions regarding two items on the menu. He looked at me like I was crazy. We ordered drinks and told him we would be ready to order our entrees when he came back. He never came back to our table. I finally had enough and found the Manager and requested a different waiter. The new waiter was much better and had a good attitude. The service was like day and night. If it had not been for us changing our waiter we would have left the restaurant.

    I enthusiastically recommend Quality Bistro. The food was excellent and the service friendly and attentive. I will definitely keep this restaurant on my "must visit again" list.
