I wanted to love this place, but was underwhelmed, likely because of the experience eating in the front dining room. It feels like a glorified hallway/storage room. It may have been fine if there was more attention to detail around the guest experience. Perhaps an explanation of the courses for the evening would have been nice. But other than those few moments when the server presented the food, there was no other engagement of the guests at any of the tables. It was odd too that we arrived for our reservation 10 minutes early and were asked to wait outside (which subsequently happened to the guests arriving for the later seating). The food was wonderful, but for the price ($700+ for 4 ppl/4-course dinner) they’ve got to do something more to make it an experience. I believe most of the positive reviews are for those eating at the chef’s table. My suggestion would be to choose that option and skip the front room unless eating in a quiet hallway appeals to you.

Great experience as always. This is our 4th time back and I am always impressed by the strong but balanced flavors Chef Rojas creates. The intricate plating and vibrant colors take the dishes to another level. Definitely a unique experience that should not be missed.

I have been planning to make time for this chef's table experience for a couple of years now, and it did not disappoint. Excellent meal, fabulous service, and the portions were generous, too, especially for a tasting menu!

Amazing 7 course dinner with each meal being perfectly cooked and curated! Highly recommend doing the chefs meal in the kitchen for a truly amazing experience!

Absolutely amazing! Kitchen table Chefs Tasting Menu was fantastic. You are in the kitchen as they prepare your meal, but that have created a much more “homey” style kitchen rather than the traditional commercial kitchen. The food and explanation of the menu as you eat is fantastic! The Mezcal selection is amazing as well. If you don’t rent out the whole table (8 guests I think) you will be seated with others which could be good or bad depending on your luck. I would rent out this table for a group in a heartbeat and enjoy a night of cocktails and amazing food. I will 1000% be going back. Maybe try the main dining room and traditional experience, but that will be hard since I know what the kitchen holds for its guests. I can tell why he won Beard Awards.
