Owned and operated by a Mexican American family whose best memories all include tacos. Puesto is an award-winning Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar providing an innovative approach to authentic Mexican flavors. Puesto has garnered national acclaim for its Mexico City-style crispy melted cheese tacos, served on handmade non-GMO, organic, maíz azul stone-ground tortillas.

In addition to tacos, offerings include a selection of fresh catch ceviches, guacamoles, starters and ensaladas, courtesy of Chef/Partner Luisteen Gonzales. The bar program showcases the best of Mexico City through the use of fresh ingredients in our hand crafted cocktails and housemade Micheladas, tequilas, mezcals, Baja craft beers, and Valle de Guadalupe wines you can’t find elsewhere.

    Riley, our server was exceptional. The food is always great at Presto's. More than a little disappointed that they removed the Choco-flan and their prior Vege taco from their menu.

    The restaurant is beautiful and service is great! The vegan tacos were delicious just wish the taquitos could be made vegan too as another option beside guacamole.

    Ordered extra grilled chicken on top of jalapeno caesar salad. Chicken came out extremely dry, almost thought it was frozen, since it wasn't even warm at all plus the sauce was not there at all. So I had a bland salad with cardboard type of chicken. And I tried to order warm tea in cold day, they don't serve any warm tea other than ice tea. My husband thought this place was a fast food restaurant. Baja taco was good.

    The hostess was very helpful as I had made a mistake with my initial reservation, and this was for my daughter’s 25th birthday celebration dinner. This is a favorite spot, and we will definitely be back.

    I felt like the food was good, but way overpriced for the quality. Everything was a la carte which would be fine if two enchiladas didn’t cost $30. Also, there was a surcharge on my check. When things are already priced so high, they shouldn’t be adding surcharges. The ambience is great, but I’ve had way better Mexican food in San Diego for a much more reasonable price.

    Puesto was fantastic!! Probably some of the best tacos I’ve ever had, definitely the best flour tortillas! Would highly recommend the filet mignon and shrimp tacos!

    The food was good, per usual. The service had declined since the last time I had eaten there. Just not as much attention paid to the water glasses or drink orders.
