Arrived a bit early but were seated and served promptly. Phil and team were attentive from cocktails thru the check. Shared an appie and eggplant parmesan entree as portions were generous. An easy walk to the Plaza and back to our hotel. Thanks.

Positives: excellent service, Caesar salads, eggplant parm. Negatives: inadequate parking, very loud too brightly lit dining room, shockingly small wine pour (our waitress brought me a full pour at no extra charge). The floor next to our table was uneven and irregular so my chair jumped every time anyone walked by. The spicy sausage pizza, my fave in Pranzo’s old location, was bland and with minimal meat. At $156 for two salads, eggplant parm, pizza and three glasses of wine not good value I’m afraid. Pranzo in Sanbusco was always our go-to after a movie so its current iteration is particularly disappointing.

We were a party of four. Ordered the Frito Misto platter to share, and that was a huge hit! It was pretty noisy when we arrived at 6:30, but it was a Saturday night. It calmed down after 7:30. Entrees were all really good. Linguine and sausage, Spaghetti Nonna, pig and pear pizza, and a creamy fettuccine with peas and beet salad was wonderful. It We got lemon sorbet to finish. Perfect ending. We did have to ask for fresh Parmesan, I think that should be offered. And we had to ask for dessert menu, but little things. Overall a really delicious meal and good time. I think they could work on decor and maybe hang some art. Ambiance needs a little work.

We love to try different restaurants when we visit Santa Fe. We went to Pranzos for Valentines Day dinner and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed excellent food and service. So we decided to eat there again while visiting over Thanksgiving weekend. We arrived on time and we were greeted by 2 women standing at the hostess stand. They seated us in a back room which was clearly not the main dining room. The room was set up for a large party. There was one other table that was occupied and there was a table for 2 by the door. My husband sat down and he was partially blocking the entrance to the room. We told the women that the table wasn't acceptable. They then rotated the table so it was horizontal! Very clever, but not acceptable. We wondered if the dining room was full, so my husband checked. Two empty tables for 4, an empty table for 2. There were two groups of 4 that were about to finish their meals. Oh, and a couple seated at a table for 4. Plus, the bar area where every high top was empty. My husband approached the hostess who was not the women who had seated us and asked to be seated in the dining room. She was reluctant to accommodate us. I have a hearing disability and being seated in that back room with a party of 10-12 guests would have been miserable for me. We were finally seated properly after my husband told her about my hearing impairment. The food was great. Our waiter, Phillip? was terrific. But... My impression is that if you're local you'll get preferential treatment.

So happy to see Pranzo back! The re-do of Shoko is lovely and comfortable. Food and cocktails were delicious.
