Amazing American style food, especially the NY Strip and the Kansas Angus Steaks, which were big and can be potentially shared by two. The salads were plentiful and delicious.

We were exited to try out Porter House Bar and Grill as we had heard great things. The food was excellent. My wife and I started with the crab cake for an appetizer which was very good. She claimed it was her favorite crab cake ever. For our main dishes, we ordered the mushroom risotto and pork chop. The mushroom risotto was very good, but the pork chop was what we could not stop talking about! I would definitely recommend to order this entree. The sides were family style so we only ordered the honey glazed carrots which were okay. The flavor was good, but some of the carrots did not seem to be fully cooked through. The service was just okay. It seemed our main server was a bit disgruntled and uninterested in contributing to our dining experience. Maybe he was just having a bad day. The support staff are what brought the rating up for serving as they were keen to keep the table clear and made sure we had everything we wanted. Overall, we would visit this restaurant again, but probably not before we tried a couple of new restaurants first.

Waiter had attitude and when we ordered cocktails didn’t bother to ask our preferences for brands used or even know what one of the cocktails was. Meats were great but the sides weren’t

This has been our go to special dinner whenever we are in NYC but this is likely the last time. The service isn’t anywhere close to what you are paying for. Our last two visits have been disappointing and last night was ridiculous. I had to repeatedly ask for water and for the bill twice. I realize we aren’t regulars but I feel like a fool to pay so much for traditional food. It was great the first few times, especially when we caught them during lunch on a weekday. But time to explore new options next trip.

Vibes - great. Drinks- great. Food was over priced. Decent quality , but over priced. I was very underwhelmed with the crab claw special. Deseret was also good .

Service was terrible this week. Took forever to find a server to get drinks, was a tiny table for our group and nobody would clear empty plates to make some room, had to ask 5 different people and wait 15 min to get the check.
