Established in 1992, Porcini is an independent, award-winning restaurant located in the Historic Crescent Hill neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. We specialize in Northern Italian cuisine, excellent service, and offer an extensive selection of fine wines, bourbons, and signature cocktails.                                                         This was my families first time dining and wanted to celebrate the Holidays.... I have always heard great things about the food and experience so thought the perfect spot to try. My daughter had the Penne Carbonara which she let me taste and it did not disappoint. Great flavor !! I had the Capellini and was okay. My husband had the Ravioli (Lobster Filled Ravioli) He was excited to try but was disappointed. You could hardly taste the Lobster and for the price you did not get your money's worth. I enjoyed the atmosphere and our server very friendly. I will definitely go back but next time I will order the Penne Carbonara. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

                                                        Such a great experience! Food and wine was amazing! We were celebrating my fiance’s new job, and the staff went above and beyond to help celebrate the special occasion! Will definitely be back soon!

                                                        Outstanding place to dine. Food was superbly prepared. Our waiter, Richard was attentive, friendly, and professional. I thought it was quite interesting how much the waitresses and waiters helped each other. The ambience was most enjoyable with low lighting, candles, old brick and wood. I did give it 4 instead of 5 stars, for value as it is on the expensive site, but well worth it especially for special occasions. We were celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary and will return for such times

                                                        Waiter was very attentive and helpful in navigating menu choices. Lamb chops were very good. Usually order rare but would suggest medium rare. Had the lobster ravioli, it was good but not outstanding. Bottle of wine that we had to pair with itwas great. It was our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary dessert which was tasty. Espresso was on point

                                                        Nice atmosphere and great food. This was my first visit to Porcini but I'm definitely up for another. We had the goat cheese appetizer and shared a bottle of Dragon white wine. Entrees were all enjoyed - salmon, chicken, and red snapper. Then there was the tiramisu! Highly recommend it all.
